About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable NDIS Support Worker to join our team, providing high-quality, person-centred support to participants across North Brisbane. This role suits someone who is patient, adaptable, and genuinely committed to helping people live with greater independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each participant's care plan
n
Assist with domestic tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
n
Support participants with community access, appointments, and social activities
n
Assist with mobility and transfers, following individual support plans
n
Provide companionship and encourage participant independence and skill-building
n
Accurately document shift notes, incidents, and any changes in participant condition
n
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and individual support/behaviour plans
n
Communicate professionally with participants, families, and the broader support team
n
n
Essential Criteria
n
n




Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
Current Working with Children Check (if supporting participants under 18)
n
Current First Aid and CPR certificate
n
Valid driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle
n
Strong communication skills and a genuine, caring approach to support work
n
Ability to work independently and follow individualised support plans
n
Flexibility to work casual/relief shifts, including some evenings, weekends, or short notice
n

Manual handling
training/certification
n
Hoisting experience (mechanical/manual lifting equipment)
n
Experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP)
n
PEG feeding
experience/training
n
