Job Description
You will complete light assembly and finishing work on semi trailers as part of a small workshop team. This is hands‐on work — not a heavy rebuild or prime‐mover engine role. You will work as part of a small team and also need to be comfortable getting on with jobs on your own.

Key responsibilities

Fitting ramps and related hardware
n
Fitting hydraulic hoses and predeliver power packs
n
Fitting airlines as required
n
Diagnosing and rectifying brake issues
n
Light touch‐up work
n
Occasional welding
n
Using a forklift to move parts, assemblies and trailers around the workshop/yard
n

About you
n
n
Experience with semi trailers or heavy vehicles / trucks
n
Comfortable working around heavy vehicles
n
Forklift experience (LF ticket preferred)
n
Practical mechanical fitting skills — hydraulics, airlines, brakes and general assembly
n
Able to work with others and independently
n
Reliable, safety‐minded and happy with workshop hours
