About our client
Our client is a leading supplier of asphalt products and services, supporting major road and infrastructure projects across Australia. With a strong focus on safety, quality and operational excellence, this is a great prospect to join an experienced production team.
We are seeking a production-focused Plant Operator to assist with the running of an asphalt plant local to Townsville.
What You Will Be Doing
Produce, allocate and dispatch asphalt product to meet production and quality requirements
Monitor and conduct routine maintenance of the asphalt production plant and associated equipment
Operate mobile plant including front end loader, bobcat, and forklift
Dispatch and loading of trucks with above machinery
Basic administration including stock control
Work closely with the laboratory and production team
What You Will Need
Previous plant, production, batching or asphalt experience (preferred)
Front End Loader experience and RII (essential)
Current Driver Licence and reliable transport




Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety
Ability to work rotating day/night shifts, including weekends
Forklift, EWP or Confined Space ticket (highly regarded)
