We are seeking an engaging, tech-savvy, and self-motivated Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic orthodontic team. This position offers a consistent 2 days per week schedule, split between our Western and Eastern suburb locations. For the right candidate, there is a genuine opportunity to increase days in the future as our practice continues to grow. Key responsibilities

Provide efficient, high-quality assistance during orthodontic procedures
n
Take great pride in building warm, trusted relationships with our patients and their families
n
Demonstrate sharp active listening and observation skills during patient discussions, accurately processing information and translating it seamlessly into clinical notes during/post-appointment
n
Maintain an efficient, organized, and clean clinical environment,



including the management of stock levels and lab work orders
n
Confidently navigate the clinic's digital systems and tech tools
n
n
About you
n
n
Possess fluent verbal and written communication skills
n
Can listen to a patient or doctor, whilst completing sterilisation or assisting chair-side and document them accurately
n
Notice the small details and are preemptive, anticipating clinical needs and preparing tools or steps before the clinicians ask
n
Take initiative, see what needs to be done, and thrive in a busy team workplace
n
Naturally energetic and love interacting with people of all ages. Gentle and patient when working with nervous and younger age groups.
n
Experience in general dental assisting, medical or dental reception, or hospitality is encouraged
