Job Description
Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a three-month contract, starting as soon as possible. Based in Broken Hill, NSW, this role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment where your clinical skills and emergency expertise will make a real difference. The position is remunerated at AUD***** to AUD***** per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work in a busy emergency department delivering high-acuity patient care

AUD***** to AUD***** per hour, three-month contract with flexibility to extend
n
Contribute your triage, resuscitation, and Advanced Life Support expertise to a supportive clinical team
n

Preferred Requirements
n
n
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
n




Demonstrated emergency department experience with proven competence in triage assessment
n
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
n
Solid resuscitation skills and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations
n
Strong clinical communication and the capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
n
n
Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
n
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated ongoing career development in emergency nursing
n
Additional certifications such as trauma nursing (TNCC) or emergency care qualifications are advantageous
n
