Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government agency to engage a Project Engineer for a ASAP – 24/12/2026 contract in Tweed Heads West, NSW.

About the Position
n
The Project Engineer will lead the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects, maintenance programs and contracts, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
n
Duties
n
n
Lead the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects and maintenance programs
n
Manage project schedules, budgets, milestones and delivery outcomes
n
Administer contracts and coordinate contractors and service providers
n
Monitor WHS, environmental compliance and project reporting requirements
n
Oversee project governance, risk management and stakeholder communication
n
n
Requirements/Skills
n
n
Proven experience delivering transport infrastructure projects and maintenance programs
n
Experience in project management,



contract administration, tendering and procurement
n
Knowledge of infrastructure maintenance practices, materials and construction techniques
n
Four‐year engineering degree or equivalent overseas qualification
n
n
