Casual Hospitality All-Rounder - Kitchen & Bar

Barwon Valley Golf Club is looking for a friendly, reliable and hands-on Hospitality All-Rounder to join our team.
n
This is a casual role suited to someone who enjoys a bit of variety and is comfortable working across both kitchen and front-of-house/bar operations. We're not looking for a qualified chef, we're looking for someone with good kitchen and cooking experience who can confidently prepare food, keep the kitchen running smoothly and jump behind the bar or assist with general hospitality when required.

Our venue is a busy, community-focused Golf Club with members, visitors, functions and events throughout the year. No two shifts are necessarily the same, and we're looking for someone who is happy to get involved wherever they're needed.

About the Role
n You'll be responsible for preparing and cooking our pub and café-style menu, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen and ensuring food is prepared and served to a high standard.
n
When required, you'll also assist behind the bar, serve members and guests, help with functions and events and generally pitch in wherever you're needed. We're a small team,



so being flexible and willing to have a go is important.

We're looking for someone who:
n
Has previous kitchen, cooking or hospitality experience
n
Is confident working independently in a kitchen
n
Is comfortable working across both kitchen and bar
n
Has a friendly, reliable and positive attitude
n
Takes pride in their work and enjoys providing good service
n
Has an RSA or is willing to obtain one

This is a casual position, with shifts primarily based around our kitchen service, weekends, functions, and Club events.
