Ballina District Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Rehabilitation team on a contract basis. This is a fixed-term opportunity running from 6 September to 25 October ****, based in Ballina, NSW. The role offers the chance to deliver patient recovery and rehabilitation care in a supportive medical nursing environment, working alongside a dedicated clinical team in this coastal Northern Rivers community.

Preferred Requirements
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA




Demonstrated medical nursing experience in acute or post-acute care settings
Solid rehabilitation nursing background, with experience supporting patient recovery pathways
Emergency nursing knowledge and the ability to respond effectively in time-critical situations
Robust communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification, with current AHPRA registration
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated competency in rehabilitation nursing
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain it
