About the role
n
We are seeking to recruit a junior lawyer to work on general litigation and dispute resolution matters andis interested in working towards building their own client base. Ideally, applicants will be located in Canberra or be willing to relocate.
n
The role on offer is an entrylevel positionand would best suit applicants who have recently graduated from University and who have completed or are in the process of completing their GDLP.

The ideal applicant will possess:
n
BA Laws (or equivalent)
n
An interest in litigation
n
Experience working in a professional services environment
n
Ability to adapt to an evolving scope of work
n
Confidence in dealing with clients and third-party stakeholders
n
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
n
Solid interpersonal skills
n
A 'can do' results driven attitude
n
Duties will include:
n
Working on litigation files
n
Liaising with clients and third-party stakeholders
n
Drafting correspondence and documents in the course of litigation
n
Briefing and liaising with Counsel and experts
n
Working collaboratively to develop strategic direction
n
Whilstemployment law or class action experience is desirable, it is not essential.
n
