Community Support Workers (In-Home Aged Carers)
who are lookingfor regular morning(7:00am to 2:00pm), afternoon(12:00pm to 8:00pm), and weekendruns.For many of the people we support, the beginning and end of the day are when a helping hand makes the greatest difference. Thatis why our morning and afternoon runs are so important. By providing support during these key times, our workers help clients remain independent, safe, and comfortable in their own homes.
Whenever possible, weroster staff close to homeand place strong emphasis on consistency, ensuringour clients receive reliable, high-quality support.
Weknowthat flexibility matters andwork is only one part of life, so weare happy to accommodate other commitments;we ask our workers to beupfrontabout their availability,which allows us to roster effectively,providing team members with a steady schedule while ensuring consistent, high-quality support for our clients.
Our clients come from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. If you haveadditionallanguage skills or interests that could help build connections,we'dlove to hear about them,



although these are not essential for the role.
This role includes:
personal care such as grooming,bathing,dressingand toiletingasappropriate totheclient'scapacity;
medication support andassistancesuch as medicationprompting, support with Webster packs or insulin and blood pressure checks (with relevant training);
community support such asassistancewith daily community interactions and appointments,assistancewith grocery shopping, attending outdoor activities and meeting up with socialgroups;
transportation such as taking clients to medical or personal appointments, collection or drop off at services or shopping; and
householdassistancesuch as meal preparation, cooking of meals and general help around the home.
This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about helping othersmaintaintheir independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
Unlike other providers,allcareteam membersare not required todo large blocks of cleaning, as we provide separate professional cleaning services to our clients. We also cover all travel time between clients as well as the reimbursement of kilometres travelled.
To be successful in this role you will have:




a great attitude with a genuine interest in helping others and acan-doattituded;
an understanding of the care needs of older people and a commitment to providing qualitycare;
the ability to work independently in an unsupervisedenvironment;
reliability and a commitment to keeping your availability up todate;
a validdriver'slicence and access to a fully insuredvehicle;
amobilephone with Internetaccess;
willingness to undertake a National Police Check Historycheck;
valid working rights in Australia; and
a minimum of two(but preferably three)COVID-19 vaccination doses and willingness to obtain the annual Influenza vaccination each year.
