ACT Commercial Landscape Group (ACLG) is looking for a reliable Water Truck Driver to join our team servicing government tree-watering contracts throughout Canberra.
n
This is a largely independent role operating one of our water trucks and completing scheduled tree-watering runs across the ACT. We're looking for someone reliable who can be trusted to manage their workload and look after the truck and equipment.

Water Truck Driver – MR Licence
n

ACT Commercial Landscape Group (ACLG) is looking for a reliable Water Truck Driver to join our team servicing government tree-watering contracts throughout Canberra.

This is a largely independent role operating one of our water trucks and completing scheduled tree-watering runs across the ACT. We're looking for someone reliable who can be trusted to manage their workload and look after the truck and equipment.

About the role
n
You'll be responsible for operating an ACLG water truck and completing allocated tree-watering routes safely and efficiently.
n
Your day-to-day work will include:
n
n
Driving and operating a water truck throughout Canberra
n
Watering newly planted street and landscape trees
n
Following allocated watering routes and schedules
n
Filling and operating the truck's water system
n
Completing basic daily vehicle and equipment checks
n
Accurately recording completed work
n
Working safely around roads, public spaces and traffic environments
n




Communicating with the ACLG team regarding progress, access or site issues
n
n
About you
n
We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical and comfortable working independently.
n
You'll need:
n
n
A current MR licence or higher
n
A good driving record and safe approach to operating heavy vehicles
n
Reliability and valuable time management
n
Confidence working independently and managing an allocated workload
n
Good communication skills
n
A practical attitude and willingness to look after the truck and equipment
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and driver's licence check.
n
n
Previous water-truck, landscaping, civil or similar experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential for the right person.
n
