This is a newly created key role with genuine ownership of the marketing function. You will take ownership of the marketing function and help drive the next stage of growth. This is not a consumer or social-media marketing role. The role requires someone who understands B2B, industrial products, wholesale distribution and channel marketing.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute B2B marketing strategy
Develop campaigns that help distributors sell more products and drive growth
Generate qualified leads through digital, email, LinkedIn, SEO and other channels
Develop product marketing, catalogues, brochures, promotions and sales material in conjunction with sales executives
Support trade shows, industry events and distributor campaigns
Improve websites and online product experience
Develop distributor and point-of-sale merchandising programs
Identify recent distributors, customers and market opportunities
Support expansion into international markets, including identifying overseas distributors and developing market-entry campaigns
Measure marketing performance and ensure activity delivers commercial results




About you
At least 5 years' B2B marketing experience
Experience in a related sector such as industrial products, manufacturing, plumbing, gas, hydraulics, pneumatics, engineering, automotive, transport, building products, electrical, hardware or wholesale distribution
Experience marketing physical products through distributors, wholesalers, dealers or resellers
Commercially minded with understanding of the sales process
Able to work well with the sales team
Hands on, able to develop strategy and get involved in campaigns, content, digital marketing, customer relations and market analysis
International marketing or market-entry experience highly regarded
