We are currently seeking an experienced Fiberglass Technician / Fiber Composite Technician to join our team in Penrith. This is a full time role and will involve working Monday to Friday 2.00pm to *****pm (afternoon shift). You will be responsible for:
n
n
Working in a protected manner and following all safety instructions and policies
n




Safely using ladders and scaffolding to access work areas
n
Reading and manufacturing stormwater containment and treatment tanks in accordance with approved drawings
n
Cutting and preparing fiberglass for the installation of components and penetrations
n
Filling all gaps and laminating using hand layup techniques
n
Finishing tanks with a flow coat
n
n
Applicants must have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role in the fiberglass industry. You'll also have an understanding of differences between Orthophthalic, isophthalic and vinyl ester resins, and have experience using Methyl Methacrylate Adhesives (MMA). A salary package of $80,000- $85,000 will be offered to the successful applicant, plus afternoon shift loading and overtime as required.
