Randstad has partnered with a local government client to recruit a Transport Planning Specialist who will lead the development of a robust, integrated transport infrastructure capital investment pipeline. In this role, you will draw together inputs from transport modelling, planning studies, safety initiatives, asset renewals, and Brisbane **** Games planning to build a evidence-based road map. This work will directly guide future budget priorities, support sustainable asset management, and ensure long-term readiness for regional growth and transport demand.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the consolidation of existing transport project pipelines into a concise investment pipeline
Draw together inputs from transport modelling, planning studies, safety initiatives, asset renewal programs, growth planning and Games-related planning
Develop the evidence base and approach for a transport investment prioritisation framework
Undertake stakeholder engagement and workshops to identify, assess and refine project priorities
Integrate transport planning priorities with asset management and renewal planning considerations
Prepare executive-level reporting, governance material and budget briefing products
Support development of a repeatable framework that can be matured and updated in future years
Skills & Experience:
Transport infrastructure planning
Investment planning and project prioritisation
Transport planning, network performance analysis and evidence-based assessment
Business case development and budget submission support
Multi-criteria assessment and prioritisation methodologies
Stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and cross functional coordination
Executive-level reporting, governance and briefing preparation
