Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified, motivated, and quality-focused Vehicle Spray Painter to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-standard refinishing work using the Glasurit paint system.
This position is ideal for a tradesperson who takes personal pride in their work, excels in color matching and finishing, and thrives in a boutique workshop setting where quality takes priority over high-volume turnover.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality surface preparation, masking, and priming on damaged vehicles.
Mix, match, and apply paints using the Glasurit waterborne paint system to achieve accurate color matches and factory‐quality finishes.
Carry out both small cosmetic/smart repairs and large full‐panel repair refinishing.
De‐trim, detail, buff, and polish completed paintwork to ensure flawless hand‐over standards.
Operate and maintain workshop equipment, spray booths,



and tinting systems in accordance with safety and manufacturer guidelines.
Take full personal ownership of assigned work while working productively within a team environment to meet repair schedules.
Qualifications & Requirements
Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology (or equivalent international trade qualification / RPL assessment).
Technical Experience: Proven experience operating within the vehicle repair industry, with specific competency in the Glasurit refinish system.
Skill Range: Competent in executing both minor repair touch‐ups and extensive panel spray work.
