Colonial Foods is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. This is a hands‐on position that also includes making local deliveries in our company van, which has a manual transmission.

Colonial Foods is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. This is a hands‐on position that also includes making local deliveries in our company van, which has a manual transmission.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Must be able to work Monday - Friday from 6am to 2pm
n
Safely load, unload and move stock using a forklift
n
Receive, check and correctly store incoming goods
n
Pick, pack and prepare customer orders
n
Load the company van and complete local deliveries
n
Accurately complete delivery and warehouse paperwork
n
Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse
n
Assist with stock takes and general warehouse duties
n
n




To be successful, you will need
n
n
A current Australian forklift licence
n
Proven forklift and warehouse experience
n
A current driver's licence and the ability to confidently drive a manual van
n
A safe driving record
n
Positive physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling
n
Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
n
Good communication and customer‐service skills
n
Careful attention to order accuracy and stock handling
n
n
Experience working in food manufacturing, food distribution or a similar environment would be advantageous.
n
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures and is comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
