Key responsibilities
n
n
Operating fabrication equipment including drop saw, CNC machining, bender, brake press, Henrob riveting, laminating, grinding, and engraving
n
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and reviewing sign design files for accuracy before fabrication begins
n
Producing work to quality standards — conducting in-process checks and ensuring product meets relevant sign fabrication standards
n
Working collaboratively across a small team where helping out across tasks is part of the culture
n
Monitoring raw material levels and flagging replenishment needs with the Supply Chain Team Lead
n
Completing production records, shift reports, and operator-level maintenance
n
Championing safety — toolbox talks, hazard reporting, PPE compliance, and 3S housekeeping
n
n
About you
n
n
3+ years' experience in a fabrication workshop or rapid-paced
manufacturing/production
environment
n
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings — dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications
n
Ability to follow and write procedures and work instructions
n
Strong numeracy and literacy for production documentation
n




A genuine commitment to quality, safety, and showing up reliably
n
Physical capacity for manual handling (lifting up to 20 kg, standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks)
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Sign manufacturing or sheet metal trade background (bonus)
n
CNC operations experience, including nesting (bonus)
n
Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or a comparable trade (bonus)
n
