The organisation is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Manager to evolve the current WHS function for the remainder of ****. The position will work two days per week in the Sydney office.
n
Your role will look like this
n
n
Foster and promote a positive safety culture by embedding proactive WHS practices across the organisation;
n
Provide expert advice to leaders on workplace safety, risk management, governance and compliance requirements;
n
Lead WHS programs including risk assessments, audits, emergency management and continuous improvement initiatives;
n
Partner with business leaders to identify, manage and mitigate workplace risks while strengthening organisational resilience;
n
Oversee contractor and supplier safety governance, ensuring consistent standards and compliance across all third-party relationships; and
n
Drive well-being, workplace experience and employee engagement initiatives, using data and insights to inform decisions and support sustainable change.

About You
n
n
Demonstrated experience in a Workplace Health & Safety role within a corporate,



professional services or similarly complex environment;
n
Strong understanding of WHS legislation, compliance obligations and contemporary risk management principles;
n
Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership teams;
n
Experience partnering with business leaders to deliver practical, commercially focused safety and well-being outcomes;
n
Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into meaningful action;and
n
Team-oriented and solutions-oriented approach, with experience managing third-party providers and a genuine commitment to creating secure, inclusive and high-performing workplaces.
