Haultech Engineering is Australia's leading manufacturer of sleeper cab air conditioning systems for the road transport industry. We're looking for an experienced Installer & Service Technician to join our Melbourne team.
n
This is a hands‐on role for someone with strong mechanical and auto electrical skills who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys solving technical problems.
n
About the Role
n
Working from our Laverton North workshop, you'll be responsible for installing, servicing and repairing our sleeper cab air conditioning systems on a wide range of trucks. Every installation is different, providing plenty of variety and opportunities to utilise your technical expertise.
n
You'll also work directly with customers to diagnose faults, provide technical advice and ensure every vehicle leaves our workshop to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Install ICEPACK sleeper cab air conditioning systems on a variety of truck makes and models
n




Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
n
Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance
n
Provide technical support to customers and assist the sales team when required
n
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work workplace
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
n
n
Any experience in automotive, heavy vehicle or auto electrical fields
n
Mechanical and electrical skills
n
High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
n
The ability to work independently and manage your workload
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
A current driver's licence (truck licence advantageous but not essential)
n
