Rexel Geelong is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Branch Manager to lead our branch team and oversee the day-to-day operations of the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for a people-focused leader who can build strong customer relationships, drive sales performance and create a positive, secure and high-performing branch environment.
As Branch Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our customers across the electrical, trade and commercial sectors while developing your team and contributing to the continued growth of the Geelong branch.
A bit about your role
Leading, coaching and developing the Geelong branch team
Creating a positive, accountable and customer-focused team culture
Managing the day-to-day operations of the branch across sales, warehouse, inventory and customer service
Driving branch sales, profitability and customer growth
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, suppliers and industry partners
Identifying new business opportunities and supporting the team to achieve sales targets
Working closely with Territory Sales Managers and the wider Rexel network to maximise customer and commercial outcomes
Champion an already strong safety culture.
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about people, customers and achieving strong commercial results.
You will be:




An experienced Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, Sales Manager or Senior Sales professional
Demonstrated experience leading a team in a sales, branch, retail, wholesale, trade or distribution environment
A proven people leader who can motivate, coach and develop a team
Commercially minded, with a strong focus on sales, customers and business performance
Confident building relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities in a busy branch environment
A strong communicator with effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
Accountable, proactive and committed to achieving results
Customer-focused, with a genuine desire to deliver an excellent customer experience
Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining high operational standards
A team player who leads by example and is willing to get involved where required
Passionate about developing people and creating opportunities for career growth
