Performance Marketing Manager, Ecommerce

RocketAMS is an ecommerce agency running Amazon for leading consumer brands. You would own paid media across a portfolio of those brands, joining a very short list of people in Australia who genuinely know how to run Amazon as a channel.

Key responsibilities
n

Campaign strategy and budgets across a portfolio of ecommerce brands
n
Accountability for return on ad spend, measured monthly against targets you help set
n
Reporting that ends in a recommendation rather than a chart
n
Budget pacing across brands with different margins and different appetites for risk
n
Working with brand managers, designers and copywriters to fix the things ads cannot fix
n
Presenting performance to clients, including in the months that go badly
n

Requirements
n
n
Two or more years running paid media,



agency side preferred
n
Hands on time in the platforms, not oversight of someone else doing it
n
Comfort owning a monthly budget and answering for it
n
Strong written communication, because a large part of this job is explaining numbers to people who do not live in them
n
Google Sheets, plus a willingness to live in ClickUp and Slack
n
Ecommerce, retail or direct to consumer clients (nice to have)
n
GA4, Looker Studio, SA360 or similar (nice to have)
n
Retail media at Coles, Woolworths or Chemist Warehouse (nice to have)
n
Any exposure to Amazon, marketplaces or Shopify (nice to have)
n
