An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Diesel Fitter / HD Fitter / HD Mechanic to join a growing diesel maintenance business based in Brisbane.
n
Working across workshop and field environments, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs of a diverse range of heavy vehicles, earthmoving equipment and mobile plant. You'll work alongside an experienced team of tradespeople and have access to quality equipment, diagnostic technology and ongoing technical support.

Carry out scheduled servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment.
n
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
n
Perform inspections, fault-finding and diagnostics on diesel-powered equipment.
n
Work across a variety of earthmoving, civil, heavy vehicles and mobile plant.
n
Carry out breakdown repairs, component replacements and major mechanical repairs.
n
Assist with project work, equipment overhauls and general workshop duties.
n
Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship and reliability.
n
Work as part of a supportive and experienced team.

Candidate
n
We're looking for a qualified and experienced Diesel Fitter / HD Mechanic who takes pride in their work and enjoys working across earthmoving, civil and heavy equipment.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Relevant Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic trade qualification.
n
Previous experience working on earthmoving, civil, heavy vehicles or mobile plant.
n
Strong mechanical, diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
n
Experience with breakdowns, servicing and major repairs.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
