The Opportunity
n
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading piling, civil and ground engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure and construction projects across Queensland and Australia.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer looking to take ownership of significant packages of work while working alongside an experienced project delivery team.
n
The role will suit an engineer with experience across piling, foundations, ground engineering, civil construction or heavy infrastructure who is looking for a long-term opportunity with a robust pipeline of projects.
n
The Role
n
You will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of projects from mobilisation through to completion, working closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, subcontractors and clients.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Supporting the delivery of piling, ground engineering and civil construction projects
n
Managing project documentation, quality, safety and environmental requirements
n
Planning and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site resources
n
Monitoring project costs, progress and productivity
n
Preparing progress claims, variations and project reporting
n
Managing RFIs, ITPs, SWMS and technical documentation
n




Working closely with the site team to resolve construction and engineering issues
n
Assisting with programming and project planning
n
Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
n
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for a Project Engineer with a background in piling, ground engineering, civil construction or major infrastructure.
n
Ideally, you will have:
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
n
Previous Project Engineering experience within
construction/infrastructure
n
Experience with piling, foundations, ground engineering or civil construction highly regarded
n
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Strong commercial and contractual awareness
n
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a site-based team
n
Strong commitment to safety and quality
n
Ability to work a 2/1 FIFO roster from Brisbane
n
