Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Architect / Lead Engineer to lead large-scale Data Center Network Modernization initiatives involving Cisco Nexus, NDFC (Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller), VXLAN EVPN, and Data Center Switching & Routing technologies. The role requires strong technical leadership, architecture expertise, and hands-on implementation experience in enterprise data center environments.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead design, implementation, migration, and optimization of Cisco Nexus-based data center networks.
n
Architect and deploy VXLAN EVPN Multi-Site/Multi-Pod solutions using NDFC.
n
Provide technical leadership and mentor a team of network engineers.
n
Develop HLDs, LLDs, migration strategies, implementation plans, and test procedures.
n
Drive data center transformation and modernization projects from design through delivery.
n
Collaborate with customers, project managers, architects, and vendors to ensure successful outcomes.
n
Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex network issues.
n




Support network automation and orchestration initiatives using Python, Ansible, APIs, and scripting.

Required Skills & Experience
n
n
10+ years of experience in Data Center Networking with proven team leadership.
n
Robust hands-on experience with:
n
Cisco Nexus **** Series Switches
n
NDFC / DCNM
n
VXLAN EVPN Fabric Architecture
n
EVPN Multi-Site and Multi-Pod Deployments
n
Data Center Switching & Routing
n
BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP, MP-BGP EVPN
n
Experience delivering large-scale network transformation and migration programs.
n
Strong understanding of Data Center Interconnect (DCI), resiliency, and disaster recovery architectures.
n
Experience with network automation using Python, REST APIs, Ansible, JSON, or Shell scripting.
