McNaughts Transport is on the lookout for an experienced MC Driver who is dedicated and determined with outstanding customer service skills, a positive attitude, and an excellent work ethic.

We are seeking a qualified and safety-conscious MC Driver (preferably with bulk DG accreditation or willing to obtain) to join our team based in Dubbo. This is a full-time role involving local pick-up and delivery across Central West NSW, with occasional regional trips or changeovers. You will be operating a late-model Scania or automatic vehicle, supported by a professional operations team.

Holding a good knowledge of COR, HML and BFM you will enjoy the benefits of working within a growing family owned and operated business with well maintained equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Conduct daily local pickup and deliveries of general freight – consisting mainly of pallets/skids and IBC's.
n
Regular regional travel for pick-ups, deliveries, or driver changeovers.
n
Safely transport bulk dangerous goods in compliance with DG regulations.
n
Complete pre-start checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and logs.
n
Work closely with the dispatch and operations teams to ensure efficient scheduling.
n

Requirements:
n
n
Valid MC driver's license.




n
Bulk Dangerous Goods accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
n
Clean driving record and strong safety mindset.
n
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
n
Positive communication skills and reliable work ethic.
n
Be well presented, punctual and flexible to changing work requirements
n
Be efficient in completing the necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets and work diaries
n
Knowledge of the load restraint guide and experience in loading/securing general freight
n
Previous experience in
local/regional/interstate
transport operations.
n
Familiarity with Central West Locations.
n
Experience with late-model Scania or similar automatic vehicles.
n
Holding a forklift license would be desirable
n
Modern, well-maintained Scania automatic vehicle.
n
