The Position
n
We are looking for a driven and tech savvy Service Technician to join our growing team opportunities available in Queensland
n
This is a hands-on role working directly with our customers to install, service, maintain and troubleshoot woodworking machinery.
n
Main Duties & Responsibilities
n
Examining and testing machines, equipment and control systems to diagnose faults.
n
Adjusting, repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machine, equipment and instruments
n
Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment
n
Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions
n
Installing electronic equipment and control systems
n
Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical,



hydraulic and pneumatic principals in commissioning and maintaining control systems
n
Follow all company standards and procedures as currently documented
n
Provide an excellent example of customer service on all levels for the company
n
Manage workflow of all service requests using Microsoft Dynamics
n
Identifying customer requirements and passing potential sales opportunities to our sales team
n
Essential Skills & Qualifications Required
n
Applicants will need to possess at least two years recent experience in Electrical or Mechatronics background with trade/diploma qualifications. A minimum of 2 years experience on panel-based woodworking machinery would be highly valued.

Good knowledge of concepts, principles and practices of
electrical/mechanical
systems
n
Current Drivers Licence
n
Strong organizational skills
n
Exceptional verbal/written communication and customer service skills
n
Professional presentation
n
Able to read and understand technical documentation, drawings, manuals and OEM guides.
n

Base Salary of between $90,000 and $120,000 commensurate with skills and experience
