About the role
n
We are looking for an experienced Chef or Cook to join our kitchen team on a full-time or part-time basis.
n
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who works well in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in the quality and presentation of their food, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
n
The role primarily offers daytime hours, with weekend work and occasional evening functions required.
n
What you'll be doing
n
n
Preparing and cooking dishes to established recipes and presentation standards
n
Completing daily food preparation and setting up your section for service
n
Managing preparation and cooking times during busy periods
n
Maintaining consistency, quality and attention to detail
n
Following food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
n
Monitoring stock levels and communicating ordering requirements
n




Assisting with menu development, specials and catering preparation
n
Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen team members when required
n
Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
n
Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen
n

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen
n
Strong food preparation and cooking skills
n
The ability to work calmly and efficiently in a quick-paced environment
n
A good understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
n
Strong organisation and time-management skills
n
Reliability, initiative and a positive attitude
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Pride in producing consistent, well-presented food
n
Availability across weekdays and weekends
n
Relevant cookery qualifications are desirable but not essential for applicants with suitable experience
n
