We are currently seeking a suitably experienced AMO/CAMO Quality Manager to join ourCanberrabased head office Safety and Quality Department.
n
As the AMO/CAMO Quality Manager, you will be responsible for:
n
Reporting on quality to meet the requirements of the Safety Management and Quality System (SMQS).
n
Ensuring that the AMOM and CAM have in place those elements necessary to improve efficiency and reduce risks.
n
Ensuring that procedures are carried out consistently and in compliance with applicable requirements.
n
Ensuring that the AMOM and CAM continuously review and improve their procedures, products, and services.
n
Ensuring communication and coordination with managers and staff for the management of quality assurance issues and results.
n
Ensuring well designed and documented procedures exist.
n
Ensuring, as required, that Third Party Interfaces have appropriate quality systems in place.
n
Inspection and testing of AMO and CAMO procedures and monitoring of equipment and operations.
n
Monitoring quality performance by conducting quality audits and providing guidance on quality oversight.
n
We are looking for:
n




At least 2 years' experience in aviation quality management.
n
Be deemed suitable by CASA to hold the position.
n
Completed a course in quality management/Lead Auditor (IOSA audit experience highly desirable).
n
Knowledge of CASR Part ****** and the Part ****** MOS and other regulations applicable to the continuing airworthiness and operation of the aircraft.
n
A comprehensive knowledge of at least one computerised maintenance control system such as WinAir, AvTrak, CESCOM or CAMP.
n
A sound understanding of audit management software such as AIRS, Intelex, etc
n
Comprehensive knowledge of Office suite (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel.)
n
Strong, well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
n
Demonstrated attention to detail, reliability, accuracy and willingness to accept responsibility.
n
Hold or be eligible to hold an ASIC card.
n
The position is ideally full-time, however a part-time arrangement will be considered to the right applicant. The role will require a dedicated individual who is looking for a career in a long-established and leading aviation Company. Both roles are based in the companies Canberra head office, work from home options are not being offered.
