About the Role...
As a Senior Method Development Scientist specializing in Immunoassay, you'll be at the forefront of developing and transferring complex ligand binding assays that support biopharmaceutical and drug development projects.
Based onsite in Adelaide, you'll collaborate with a diverse and innovative team, ensuring scientific excellence and regulatory compliance.
Your work will be instrumental in shaping the future of bioanalysis, supporting vital therapies, and expanding Australia's leading laboratories.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Analytical Science)
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience working in an analytical laboratory, preferably within a Clinical Research Organization (CRO)
At least 2 years of proven expertise in ligand binding assay development and transfer, with a focus on immunoassays




Strong understanding of regulatory standards and GLP practices in bioanalytical environments
Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
Demonstrated problem-solving ability with attention to detail and scientific rigor
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and efficiently managing multiple priorities
Nice to Have Skills
Experience in troubleshooting and technical investigations of analytical methods
Previous exposure to regulatory documentation, such as SOPs and ALMs
Familiarity with automation tools and bioanalytical software
Collaborative mindset with a tendency to mentor and support junior team members
Preferred Education & Experience
A minimum of an undergraduate degree; a master's or doctoral qualification would be advantageous
Experience in a regulated bioanalytical laboratory, ideally with international or multi-site exposure
Past success working within quick-paced, growth-oriented teams in the biotech or pharmaceutical sectors
