Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our Brisbane Building Services team. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving the delivery of medium to large-scale projects across a diverse portfolio, including defence, commercial, health and transport.

The Role
n
In this role, you will:
n
n
Lead the mechanical design and delivery of medium to large-scale building services projects
n
Take ownership of project outcomes from concept through to construction
n
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the team
n
Manage project scope, programme and budget, ensuring successful delivery outcomes
n
Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams, architects and external stakeholders
n
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term relationships and repeat work
n
Review designs and documentation to ensure technical quality, compliance and constructability
n
n
You will contribute across a diverse portfolio spanning defence, commercial, health, education and transport, offering strong project variety and strategic input into key projects.

About You
n
Please note: Australian citizenship is required due to the nature of the projects.

You will bring:
n
n




*****+ years' experience in mechanical building services engineering
n
Proven experience leading medium to large-scale projects within a consultancy environment
n
Strong technical capability across HVAC and mechanical systems
n
Deep understanding of Australian Standards, NCC and authority requirements
n
Demonstrated ability to manage projects, clients and multidisciplinary coordination
n
Robust leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing others
n
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach
n
