Lead a high-performing team delivering essential financial services across CSPD
n
Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese is seeking an experienced Billing and Receipting Lead to oversee the delivery of billing, receipting and accounts receivable services across our network of 83 schools.
n
Reporting to the Billing and Receipting Services Manager, you will lead a dedicated high performance team responsible for accurate and timely financial processing, responsive customer service and the continuous improvement of systems and processes.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced billing, accounts receivable or shared services professional who enjoys leading people, solving complex problems and improving the customer experience.

About the Opportunity
n
As the Billing and Receipting Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of billing and receipting services while building the capability of your team and maintaining strong financial controls.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Leading and developing the Billing and Receipting team to deliver accurate, timely and responsive services
n
Overseeing school fee statements, receipt allocations and end-of-month processing
n
Managing accounts receivable and family debtor account data
n
Ensuring accurate reconciliations across financial systems, the general ledger and overseas student visa records
n
Coordinating refunds, payment arrangements, account transfers, discounts and fee adjustments
n




Supporting the annual school fee-setting and budgeting processes
n
Responding to complex enquiries from families, schools and internal stakeholders
n
Maintaining effective billing and receipting controls, policies and procedures
n
Acting as the primary contact for internal and external audits
n
Leading improvements to systems, processes, reporting and customer service
n
Supporting system implementations, enhancements and testing as a subject matter expert
n

About You
n
You are an experienced financial services leader who combines strong technical knowledge with a practical and customer-focused approach.
n
You will bring:
n
n
Experience leading a billing, receipting, accounts receivable or financial shared services team
n
Strong knowledge of billing, reconciliations and accounts receivable processes
n
Demonstrated experience coaching staff and managing team performance
n
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and financial control
n
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
n
The ability to resolve complex enquiries with professionalism and sound judgement
n
Experience improving financial systems, processes and customer service
n
Confidence managing competing priorities in a high-volume setting
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience
n
Support for the mission and values of Catholic education
n
n




Experience working within a large or complex organisation, including education, shared services or a multi-site environment, would be highly regarded.
