Pumps and Pipeline Services is seeking a motivated and results-driven
Counter Sales Person
to join our team in Muswellbrook, NSW. This is a
full-time position
based in office at our retail premises.
As a Sales Person, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through developing and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role is pivotal in supporting our business objectives and expanding our market presence within the sectors we service.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
Identify, pursue and close new sales opportunities within the local and regional markets
Prepare and deliver quotations tailored to client needs
Provide technical information to prospective customers
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions and pipeline opportunities using CRM systems
Collaborate with internal teams including operations and technical support to ensure client requirements are met efficiently
Work with procurement team to monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify strategic sales opportunities
Achieve or exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs on a consistent basis




Provide feedback to management on market conditions, customer needs and areas for business development
What we're looking for
Proven track record of success in a sales role, ideally within water management in the industrial, engineering, manufacturing or related sectors
Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand and address client needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload effectively
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales management tools
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and commitment to achieving sales targets
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Valid driver's licence
Knowledge of pumps, pipelines or related products is essential to be considered for this role.
