Low -Level Maintenance & Bin Cleaner and driving

First Facility Management is seeking a dedicated Driver with the ability to perform low-level maintenance/handy man work and regular bin cleaning to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a Ute & Trailer to transport cleaning equipment to provide Deep Bin Cleans & Sanitization for Residential & Commercial buildings, whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will play a vital part in our cleaning operations, ensuring that our clients' Bins remain clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. This position is essential to the smooth running of our daily operations and directly contributes to the satisfaction of our valued clients.

Key responsibilities
n
Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitisation of bins and bin areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques
n
Low level building maintenance such as patching and painting, fixing signage to walls, changing light globes etc.
n
Power washing of hard surfaces in common areas of strata building and cleaning of drains
n
Removal of dumped items on common areas from strata buildings and taking to the dump
n
Low level gardening, such as blowing leaves, trimming hedges, removal of green waste etc.
n
Carpet cleaning in common areas of strata buildings as required
n
Operate and maintain company vehicle & trailers to transport cleaning equipment and materials to various client locations
n
Ensure all vehicles are kept clean, well-stocked with supplies, and maintained in safe working condition
n
Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance issues or safety concerns
n
Maintain accurate records of bins cleaned and cleaning activities
n
Follow all health and safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
n




Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues regarding services provided and any issues encountered
n
Assist with loading and unloading of equipment and materials from vehicles
n
Report any vehicle defects or damage promptly to management
n
About you
n
Valid Australian driver's licence with a clean driving record
n
Ability to drive with a trailer in tow & ability to obey Driver SOP (Standard Operational procedures)
n
Proven experience as a driver, cleaner, or in waste management services
n
Ability to perform low level building maintenance
n
Ability to follow Cleaning SOP – Collecting bins, lifting on to the machine, ensuring that bins are thoroughly washed, sanitised and replaced on the nature strip
n
Willingness to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy items and working in various weather conditions
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
n
Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Ability to complete & submit Bin Wash Run quota
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to follow health, safety, and environmental regulations
