We are seeking a talented and creative
Cake Decorator/Pastry Chef
to join the team at Enze Bakery in Ryde, NSW. MUST based in Sydney. This is a
full-time/part-time position
based in our Ryde location.
In this role, you will be responsible for decorating a range of cakes to the highest standards. You will play a key part in bringing our customers' special occasions to life through your exceptional baking and decorating skills, whilst maintaining the quality and presentation standards that Enze Bakery is known for.
Key responsibilities
Decorate cakes using a variety of techniques including piping, cake masking and artistic finishes
Prepare cream fillings, and other components following established recipes and quality standards
Maintain a clean, hygienic and organised workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor inventory levels of decorating supplies and baking ingredients, reporting needs to management
Contribute to the development of new cake and pastry designs and seasonal offerings
Train and support junior bakers and decorators as required
What we're looking for
Formal qualification or substantial experience as a pastry chef, cake decorator or baker
Proven expertise in cake decoration techniques including piping, and hand-crafted finishes
Proficiency in working with a variety of cake from traditional to contemporary designs
Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for colour, proportion and aesthetic presentation
The ability to work efficiently under pressure,



particularly during busy periods and when managing multiple orders
Strong communication skills and the ability to understand and interpret customer requests accurately
A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude towards teamwork
Food handling certification or willingness to obtain this qualification
