The Role
Support the reliability and performance of underground and surface mining equipment through planned maintenance, workshop duties and breakdowns.
Servicing, diagnosing and repairing heavy mobile mining equipment
Responding to breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance
Component changeouts, mechanical fault finding and basic hydraulics




Working across OEM equipment including Sandvik, CAT, Normet and Elphinstone
Camp & Travel
FIFO from Cairns or Townsville, short transfer from airport to camp
Modern ensuite accommodation, wet and dry mess with quality meals
Gym, pool, tennis courts and an active social camp culture
Telstra mobile reception and Wi‐Fi throughout
Your Skills & Experience
Proven experience on heavy equipment, earthmoving, agricultural or civil
Open cut or underground mining experience highly regarded
Solid safety focus and ability to work effectively in a team
Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and police clearance
