n About Your Recent Role
n As the Domain Architect, you will provide architecture leadership and direction across the
telecommunications,
network and infrastructure environments spanning physical, on-premises, cloud and operational technology platforms. You will develop and maintain domain strategies, target-state architectures, roadmaps, standards and reusable patterns, while also providing architecture leadership across key technology initiatives.
n Other tasks include:

Develop and maintain current, transition and target-state architectures and domain roadmaps.
n
Provide architecture leadership across
telecommunications,
connectivity, network and broader infrastructure environments.
n
Lead or contribute to solution architecture across relevant technology initiatives.
n
Translate business, operational and technical requirements into practical architecture solutions.
n
Provide architecture guidance and assurance from concept through to implementation.
n
Support the integration and evolution of legacy and contemporary technologies.
n
Embed cyber security, resilience, recoverability and continuity requirements into architecture decisions.
n
Provide architecture input into business cases, sourcing strategies,



procurement and vendor evaluations.
n
Work closely with Technology, Security, Engineering, Network Operations and delivery teams.
n
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and modernise complex technology environments.
n
Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to technical specialists.
n

About You
n An experienced Domain Architect with broad technical exposure across
telecommunications,
networking and infrastructure environments. You will have a track record of developing architecture strategies and roadmaps within complex, highly available or critical environments.
n You will be familiar with the following:
n
n
Domain architecture, target-state architecture and technology roadmaps.
n
Telecommunications,
enterprise and operational networks.
n
Cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
n
Carrier services, fibre and optical transport, radio/microwave, data networking and digital voice.
n
Solution architecture and delivery assurance.
n
Technology modernisation, lifecycle management and technical debt.
n
Cyber security, resilience and technology risk.
n
Business cases, vendor evaluation and technology sourcing.
n
Working across enterprise and operational technology environments.
n
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
n
Previous experience working within large, complex or critical infrastructure environments.
n
n
A tertiary qualification in
Telecommunications,
Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline is desirable, along with TOGAF or an equivalent architecture certification.
n
