We are currently seeking experienced and professional
Tactical Retail Security Officers
to join our growing retail security and loss-prevention operations across
Regional Victoria
including Ballarat, Bendigo, Moe, Morwell, Traralgon and surrounding regional areas. We are particularly interested in applicants who
live locally in or near these areas
and are looking for consistent security work within their region.
About the role
This is a specialist retail security and loss-prevention position involving proactive theft prevention, surveillance, incident response, evidence collection and liaison with retail management and Victoria Police. You will work within a professional retail environment and play an significant role in protecting customers, staff, merchandise and store assets.
Key Responsibilities
Provide proactive retail security and loss-prevention services.
Detect, deter and respond to suspected theft and shoplifting.
Conduct overt and covert surveillance in accordance with site procedures.
Monitor CCTV and identify suspicious activity.
Respond to active theft and security incidents.
Use only lawful, reasonable and proportionate physical intervention where required.
Maintain the safety of customers, staff and security personnel during incidents.




Liaise with Store Management, Loss Prevention teams and Victoria Police.
About You
Experienced in retail security, loss prevention or tactical security.
Confident dealing with theft and challenging situations.
Professional, reliable and punctual.
Calm and capable of making decisions under pressure.
Strong in communication and report writing.
Comfortable working independently.
Able to work professionally with store management and police.
Experienced with
Auror
or similar reporting platforms (highly desirable).
