Redbank Plains – High-Intensity Paediatric Support
We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join an established team providing high-intensity, one-to-one support to a paediatric NDIS participant.
Day, afternoon and awake overnight shifts are available. Applicants must be available for a
minimum of three shifts per week
.
Eight Mile Plains – Disability Support Worker
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate and physically capable Disability Support Worker to provide in-home support and community access to an NDIS participant.
The participant uses a wheelchair, so applicants must be physically capable of safely supporting wheelchair-based community access and meeting the inherent physical requirements of the role.
Community participation is an significant part of this position, including regularly supporting the participant to attend church and participate in faith-based community activities. Applicants do not need to share the participant's religious beliefs but must be comfortable and respectful in supporting this important part of the participant's life.
Key responsibilities
Redbank Plains:
PEG/enteral feeding and associated care
Seizure monitoring and management
Medication assistance




Personal care and daily living support
Monitoring and responding appropriately to changes in the participant's condition
Following individual care plans and clinical protocols
Accurate documentation and progress notes
Eight Mile Plains:
In-home support and assistance with daily living
Community access and participation
Supporting safe wheelchair-based community access
Supporting the participant to attend church and participate in faith-based community activities
Encouraging independence and community connection
Accurate documentation and progress notes
About you
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or equivalent
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current First Aid and CPR
Current Australian driver's licence
Reliable transport
Previous disability support experience
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliability and commitment to rostered shifts
Unrestricted, ongoing working rights in Australia
For Redbank Plains:
Demonstrated high-intensity disability support experience and confidence working within a paediatric care environment.
Experience with PEG/enteral feeding and seizure management is required.
For Eight Mile Plains:
We are looking for someone who is patient, engaging and reliable, and who genuinely enjoys supporting a participant to remain active and connected within their community.
