About the Role
We're seeking a motivated Draftsperson to join our Engineering Department. In this pivotal role, you'll transform concepts into detailed fabrication drawings, ensuring compliance with business, client, and Australian standards.
This position offers a diverse mix of design, technical drafting, and on-site engagement, ideal for someone who enjoys turning ideas into practical, buildable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop 3D design concepts and preliminary drawings for project visualisation.
Produce accurate and detailed 2D workshop drawings for fabrication.
Conduct site visits to scope, measure, and capture data for design processes.
Utilise 3D scanning technologies to collect and model precise site data.
Create and manage DXF and STEP files for collaboration with clients and internal teams.
Maintain an organised and accessible drawing file management system.




Support estimating activities including scope development, material procurement, and scheduling.
Maintain strict safety standards and uphold Bryan Industries' core values.
About You
You're a detail-oriented skilled who takes pride in precision and practical design. You work well both independently and in a collaborative team environment, and you're ready to contribute to a company that values innovation and craftsmanship.
You'll bring:
Certificate III or IV in Engineering Drafting (or equivalent qualification).
Must have Trade Experience.
Strong proficiency in CAD software for 2D and 3D drafting.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in the manufacturing or fabrication industry (advantageous).
