Tenterfield Shire Council is recruiting multiple Plant Operators to join its Infrastructure Works team across Tenterfield and Urbenville, NSW — a genuine long-term opportunity with real career pathways.
Duties
Operate and maintain civil plant and road construction machinery
Perform pothole patching, concreting and general road maintenance
Complete daily pre-start checks, plant maintenance and timesheets
Install and maintain road signage, guideposts and erosion control measures
Perform traffic control duties to ensure safe site operations
Is This You?
Certificate II in Civil Construction (or equivalent experience)
Demonstrated experience operating civil plant and road machinery
Strong safety mindset, particularly in live traffic environments
The following will be highly regarded:
Certificate III in Civil Construction (or willingness to obtain – Council support provided)
General Construction (White) Card
Certificate of Competency for relevant plant
First Aid Certificate

You will receive a market-competitive salary of $60,143 - $69,259 per annum + Award Allowances + 12% Superannuation, based on skills and experience. You will also have access to:
