Job Description
Zen Group is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team for an upcoming 10 level residential project in West End, QLD.
n
This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in overseeing all on-site construction activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities
n
Oversee all daily construction activities and coordinate site operations to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines
n
Manage and supervise construction teams, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain productivity and work quality
n
Implement and monitor safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all site personnel
n
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards, defects and quality issues before they escalation
n
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, timesheets, material logs and safety records
n
Manage project budgets, cost control and procurement activities to optimise expenditure
n
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and satisfaction
n
Schedule and coordinate trades and deliveries to maintain workflow efficiency and minimise delays
n
Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly to prevent project disruptions
n
Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations and company policies
n
What we're looking for
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in construction site management or supervisory roles within the construction industry
n
Proven experience managing medium to large-scale construction projects from commencement through to completion
n
Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and WorkCover requirements applicable to Queensland construction
n
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple trades, teams and subcontractors effectively
n




Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
n
Sound knowledge of construction budgeting, cost control and project scheduling
n
Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise confidently with all stakeholders
n
Current White Card (Construction Induction) certification or willingness to obtain immediately upon employment
n
Proficiency in site management software and digital tools
n
First aidd certification is desirable
n
Experience with relevant construction management systems and quality assurance processes
n
