Finance Assistant Role Overview

NC Associates are currently recruiting an experienced Fianance Assistantl for a successful and growing organisation based in Liverpool.
n
This is a great opportunity for someone with robust Finance experience who is confident managing high volumes of invoices, supplier accounts and payment runs. You'll join a supportive finance team and play a key role in assisting the team
n
Finance Assistant Responsibilities
n
n
Processing purchase and sales invoices
n
Managing supplier and customer accounts
n
Bank and supplier statement reconciliations
n
Processing payment runs
n
Allocating incoming payments
n
Raising invoices and credit notes
n
Assisting with credit control and outstanding debt
n
Resolving supplier and customer account queries
n




Supporting month-end processes
n
Preparing journals, accruals and prepayments
n
Maintaining accurate financial records
n
Assisting with ad-hoc finance and reporting duties
n
n
Finance Assistant Experience Required
n
n
Previous experience within a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar role
n
Good understanding of purchase and sales ledger
n
Experience with bank reconciliations
n
Confident using Excel and accounting systems
n
Strong attention to detail
n
Excellent communication and organisational skills
n
AAT qualification or study would be advantageous but is not essential
n
n
