Holy Spirit School, Bray Park, is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher

to inspire students through engaging language learning experiences that foster cultural understanding, communication skills and a love of languages.

18 per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
Salary:
$86,601 - $124,725 per annum + 12.5% Super (commensurate with experience)

Each year level is comprised of three classes, supported by a comprehensive Learning Support Team and School Officers. Student wellbeing and progress is central. Our Year Level Teams work collaboratively to prepare and plan for optimal engagement for all students; each Team is well supported by the Primary Learning Leader and other key personnel. We promote a positive work culture through regular professional development opportunities, allocated non-contact time, effective contemporary resourcing, staff wellbeing activities and a true sense of belonging. The school is well-resourced with 1-1 iPads for students and IT devices provided for each staff member.

In this position you will be responsible for:
Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices
Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community
Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture
Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes




Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development
Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
