Senior Contract Administrator - Construction

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction-focused Contract Administrator looking to take the next step in their career and work across complex projects.
n
Australian Citizenship is mandatory. The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain an NV2 security clearance and must be available to work onsite 5 days per week.
n
About the Role
n
You will support the commercial and contractual delivery of construction projects, working closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
n
Key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Administer and manage construction contracts from commencement through to completion
n
Support Project Managers with commercial and contractual matters
n
Manage subcontractor agreements and contractual documentation
n
Monitor contractual obligations, milestones and deliverables
n
Assist with variations, claims and extensions of time
n
Review and assess subcontractor claims and supporting documentation
n
Maintain accurate contract registers and project records
n
Identify contractual risks and eliminate issues proactively
n
Support procurement and subcontractor engagement
n
Prepare commercial reports and project documentation
n
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and key stakeholders
n
Ensure contractual and commercial processes are managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle
n

About You
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry
n




Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
n
Experience managing subcontractors, variations, claims and contractual documentation
n
Strong commercial and financial awareness
n
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers and wider project teams
n
Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Contracts, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded
n
