Key responsibilities
Provide professional hairstyling services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to client needs and preferences
Consult with clients to understand their desired look and provide expert recommendations based on face shape, hair type, and current trends
Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and salon cleanliness at all times
Use quality products and equipment professionally and safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat bookings and customer loyalty
Stay up to date with current hairstyling trends, techniques, and industry best practices
Manage appointment schedules efficiently and provide excellent customer service




For Senior Hairstylists: Mentor and guide junior team members, demonstrating best practices and providing constructive feedback
For Senior Hairstylists: Contribute to training and development initiatives within the salon
What we're looking for
Valid hairdressing qualification or certification recognised in New South Wales
For Senior Hairstylists: Minimum 5+ years' professional hairstyling experience in a salon environment
For Junior Hairstylists: Completed hairdressing apprenticeship or equivalent training; willingness to learn and develop further skills
Proficiency in a wide range of hairstyling techniques including cutting, colouring, perming, and styling
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results consistently
Professional appearance and demeanour that reflects our salon's brand values
Knowledge of hair care products and the ability to provide product recommendations to clients
For Senior Hairstylists: Proven ability to mentor others and contribute positively to team culture
Flexibility with scheduling, including potential weekend and evening shifts
Current First Aid certification is advantageous
