About the Role
n
As a Senior Accountant, you will manage a diverse client portfolio and provide high quality taxation, compliance and business advisory services. You will play a key role in supporting client outcomes, mentoring junior team members and contributing to the ongoing growth and professionalism of the firm.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and business activity statements for a diverse range of clients under appropriate supervision
n
Support the delivery of taxation, compliance and business advisory engagements
n
Maintain accurate client records and assist with meeting compliance deadlines
n
Complete administrative requirements accurately and on time
n
Build professional working relationships with colleagues and clients through responsive and professional communication
n




Contribute positively to the team culture and workplace collaboration including day to day guidance of junior team members
n
Comply with workplace health and safety obligations, company policies and professional standards
n
Participate in ongoing learning, training and career development opportunities
n
Undertake other duties reasonably related to the role as required

Qualifications and Experience

Essential
n
n
Completed a degree qualification with a major in Accounting
n
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or intention to commence or currently undertaking CA studies
n
Minimum 3 years experience in a public practice accounting role
n

Desirable
n
n
Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
n
Experience managing a diverse client portfolio
n
n
