About the Role
n
MECER PTY LTD, operating DecoRug Maroochydore, is seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Retail Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our Maroochydore store.
n
The Retail Manager will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating sales activities, maintaining stock levels, delivering high standards of customer service and supporting the overall commercial performance of the business.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage and coordinate daily retail store operations.
n
Supervise, motivate and coordinate retail staff.
n
Prepare staff rosters, allocate duties and monitor employee performance.
n
Provide staff training, guidance and support.
n
Plan and implement sales, promotional and merchandising activities.
n
Monitor sales performance, operating costs and profitability.
n
Maintain high standards of customer service and manage customer enquiries and complaints.
n
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock ordering and replenishment.
n
Manage purchasing and liaise with suppliers regarding stock, pricing and deliveries.
n
Ensure stock is accurately received, stored, displayed and controlled.
n
Maintain accurate sales, stock, staffing and operational records.
n
Maintain high standards of merchandising, cleanliness and store presentation.
n
Assist with recruitment, induction, training and development of employees.
n




Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and relevant employment and retail requirements.
n
Identify opportunities to improve sales, customer experience and store profitability.
n
Manage store opening, closing and security procedures.
n

Qualifications
n
The preferred candidate will have:
n
n
A relevant AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma, or equivalent qualification relevant to the position; and
n
At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the nominated occupation or a closely related role.
n
n
Relevant qualifications, skills and experience will be considered when assessing applications.

Salary
n
$79,500 per annum plus superannuation.
n
