Early Childhood Educator Diploma Qualified

As a Casual Diploma Qualified Educator, you will work alongside and support our educators and teaching staff across Pearcedale Day Care & Kindergarten. This would be a excellent opportunity for an educator looking for flexible casual work while still having the opportunity to become a familiar and valued member of our service.

Key responsibilities
n
Supporting the delivery of engaging, nurturing and play-based learning experiences
n
Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
n
Supporting children's individual needs, interests, learning and development
n
Working collaboratively with educators across different rooms and age groups
n
Contributing to a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment
n
Assisting with the day-to-day routines and operation of the service
n
Delivering effective early learning programs and evaluating their success
n
About you
n
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent recognised qualification)
n
Current First Aid Certificate
n
Current CPR certification
n




Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
n
Current Working with Children Check
n
Current Child Safety Training through Gecko or willingness to complete this prior to commencement
n
Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
n
Understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS)
n
Previous experience in early childhood education is preferred; however, enthusiastic Diploma-qualified educators beginning their career are encouraged to apply
n
Must have the right to work in Australia
