About the Role
n
Working within a collaborative and high-performing team, you will advise and represent clients across a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters. This position offers exposure to complex workplace disputes, disciplinary matters, investigations, dismissals, wage and entitlement claims, and other employment-related issues.
n

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide advice and representation across a variety of industrial and employment law matters.
n
Manage a diverse caseload involving workplace disputes, disciplinary processes, misconduct allegations, dismissals, and underpayment claims.
n




Represent clients or instruct counsel in conciliations, mediations, tribunals, and court proceedings.
n
Prepare correspondence, submissions, briefs, contracts, and other documentation.
n
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
n
Deliver practical, commercially focused, and strategic advice aligned with client objectives.
n
Contribute to the successful management and progression of matters from commencement through to resolution.

Skills & Experience
n
n
Minimum 2+ years' Post Admission Experience (PAE) in Industrial & Employment Law or a related practice area.
n
Strong understanding of relevant employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks, and case law.
n
Previous experience working with unions, member-based organisations, or employee representative groups will be highly regarded.
n
Excellent drafting, advocacy, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills.
n
Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
n
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
n
Ability to work collaboratively while also managing matters independently.
