We are seeking a reliable and experienced
Painter
to join our workshop team, located just off the M5 at Ingleburn.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys preparing, painting and refurbishing machinery and attachments. You will play an key role in maintaining the presentation and condition of our hire fleet, ensuring equipment is looking its best and ready to go back out to customers.

Painter

This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys preparing, painting and refurbishing machinery and attachments. You will play an important role in maintaining the presentation and condition of our hire fleet, ensuring equipment is looking its best and ready to go back out to customers.
About the Role
This role is focused on the preparation, painting and refurbishment of our excavators, attachments and hire equipment, ensuring our fleet is maintained to a high standard of presentation.
In this role you will:
Prepare machinery, attachments and components for painting, including cleaning, degreasing, sanding and surface preparation.
Prepare and mask surfaces requiring painting, touch‐ups or maintenance.
Carry out filling/bogging and sanding where required to achieve a quality finish.
Mix and apply industrial paints and coatings, including two‐pack paints.




Carry out spray painting of excavators, attachments and other hire equipment.
Complete paint touch‐ups and repairs as required.
Refurbish paintwork on machinery and attachments returning from hire.
Inspect equipment for paint damage and identify areas requiring repair or repainting.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
Assist workshop tradesmen and other team members as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in the preparation and painting of machinery, equipment, attachments or automotive vehicles.
Experience with surface preparation, sanding, filling/bogging, masking and spray painting.
Experience mixing and applying industrial coatings, including two‐pack paints.
A strong eye for detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
The ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
The ability to safely and competently use a range of hand and power tools.
A current and valid Australian driver's licence.
A current LF forklift licence (LF), or willingness to obtain one.
The ability to pass pre‐employment Drug & Alcohol Testing and a Fitness for Work Assessment.
The right to live and work in Australia.
